2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Lamp Out

The lamp out light has started going on and off intermittenly.

2004 dodge ram 1500 lamp out. Posted on feb 01 2009. I have checked all my lights no problems found. It seems to have something to do with my brake sometimes the light will stay on while i m driving then i push the brake pedal and it goes out.

It corrected all the light problems and doesn t need to be flashed to the vehicle. Open up the tail gate you will see two torque screws on the inside beside the tail lights. I got the replacement fcm from the junkyard 102 with shipping and installed it in about 5 minutes.

The lamp out indicator regularly comes on and the bell sounds very annoying. Take these out this will free up the housing and you can change it from there. Joined feb 19 2004.

Thanks for all the advice. Btw the fcm i used was out of a 1500 dodge not a 2500 and it can be used in the 3500 also. Everyone very nice and shiny day here in california like i promised a few people yesterday what i did to get rid of the lamp out on hid systems when i installed my hid system i had to cut my socket and i soldered the ends to the kit.
